The aim of this course is to provide an overview of several nuclear medicine procedures and related dosimetry and radiation protection issues. In particular, the course will focus on four specific isotopes: Lu-177, I-131, Ga-68 and Y-90. The training will be split into an introductory online course, with relevant online lectures and seminars, and a three-day face-to-face course. The target group is students and young scientists from different backgrounds who want to gain a general understanding of radiation protection and dosimetry in nuclear medicine.
